Refers to the local Australian clothing manufacturing industry. Employing local garment makers, such as fabric knitters, cutters, sewers, laundries, pressers, and pattern makers.

   

Refers to the process of dying the garment a particular colour. T-shirts can be cut and sewn as natural white garments, and then batch dyed black or blue etc. This process results in a garment that fades to a vintage look quicker than a cut & sew garment.

 

When the fabric on the roll is already dyed the chosen colour, the garment can be made simply by cutting the fabric, and sewing the T-shirt together. No additional washing/fabric treatments are carried out.

 

When we use the words 'ethical' or 'ethics', it will relate to the standards of practice and treatment that humans experience in the supply chain of our goods. Offshore clothing manufacturing is notorious for the mistreatment of garment workers, whether it be poor pay, or poor working conditions. Due to operating in Australia, we can proudly state our ethical practices due to adhering to Australian standards, in terms of both fair wage, and fair working conditions.
